With over 30 years of experience and state of the art laboratory facility dedicated to toxicology, ATRPL offers complete toxicology services. Our automated systems and dedicated skilled laboratory staff ensure accurate analysis of the specimens that we process annually.

Our Facillity

Nestled in Pune, Maharashtra, India, ATRPL boasts a cutting-edge 9000 sq. ft. laboratory and animal house facility, serving as the nucleus for precise preclinical testing services. The ground floor houses the In Vivo department, featuring 12 meticulously designed animal rooms, including specialized areas for Rat, Mouse, Guinea pigs, and Rabbits. Connected spaces, such as surgical, necropsy, quarantine, and procedure rooms, seamlessly complement the facility. The ground floor is equipped with a state-of-the-art HEPA-filtered HVAC system managing specialized dose preparation, ensuring optimal conditions. Additional amenities include cage wash, feed/bedding rooms, and clean cage storage.

Ascending to the first floor reveals In-Vitro (Microbiology Services) labs, encompassing areas for general micro, incubation, media prep, and a contemporary sterility testing room. The Pathology department shares this floor, fostering collaborative efforts. Quality Assurance, Administration, business development, and support functions coalesce on the first floor. Meanwhile, the second floor accommodates the Animal House, a dedicated breeding facility, and an instrumentation room housing a dozen specialized instruments. The facility, constructed in 2018, adheres to NABL/GLP standards, with all major systems and equipment validated accordingly. A robust diesel-powered generator ensures seamless backup electrical services, and a comprehensive CCTV monitoring system guarantees 24-hour vigilance against deviations or outages. This GLP-approved design, recognized by ISO 17025:2017 accreditation and pre-GLP Audit, reflects ATRPL’s commitment to excellence and streamlined workflow.

Our History

With a rich experience of 10 years working in a toxicology laboratory, Dr. Kishori G. Apte founded the National Toxicology Centre (NTC) in 1993. For running successfully for the next 15 years, the National Toxicology Centre (NTC) was transformed to ATRPL Testing and Research Pvt. Ltd. (ATRPL) in 2008-09 from a proprietor firm to a private limited company serving the science since then.

ATRPL continues to grow and support the life science and agriculture industries, and continues to be a leader in, “Pre-Clinical Animal Toxicity Studies”.
